Dr.J.Dominic,PhD from University of Mysore and presently working as Chief Librarian & Head DLIS in Karunya University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India for the past 24 years and implemented many IT based services. More than 60 research papers published in National and International Conferences and in Journals. Received two best paper awards in conferences. Guided 52 Mphil project and and 3 phds. Resource person for the National conferences, seminars and workshops.  Editor for 4 conference volume and associate editor for 3 journals. conduct Training Programme for Engineering College Librarians by ISTE -AICTE. The Best Librarian Award for the year 2006 by SALIS. Expert Member for Doctoral committee in various Universities. Membership in professional bodies ILA, IASLIC, SALIS, ISTE.

Dr. M.Mandhirasalam

Dr.M.Mandhirasalam is currently working as a Librarian at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India. Prior to his tenure in CIT, he was worked as a Librarian / Senior Librarian in the department of Central Library at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore for about 11 years. Totally, he has 13 years of professional experience in the field of LIS. He possesses M.A., MLIS and M.Phil. degrees. He has cleared the SLET and NET in Library and Information Science in 1999 and 2000 respectively. He is also cleared the NET in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2009. Recently he was awarded the Ph.D. in LIS in Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. He has attended many national and international seminars, workshops, conferences and presented papers. He also served as a Resource person in few national seminars. He has six journal articles to his credit. He has served as the Organising Secretary of the SALIS 2008 National Conference on “Re- Building the Libraries: Learning form the Past and Plan for the Future” organized jointly by SALIS and Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore during August 7-9, 2008. He is the recipient of “AutoLib-Tamilnadu Best Young Librarian Award” for the year 2008 from the Society for the Advancement of library and Information Science (SALIS). He is one of the Assistant Editor of SALIS Journal of Library and Information Science (an international journal) and one of the Editor of the SALIS Journal of Information Management and Technology (an official journal of SALIS) published by the Society for the Advancement of Library and Information Science (SALIS).His areas of interests are library management and planning, library automation, digital library and e-learning. He is a Life member of SALIS (Society for the Advancement of library and Information Science) and IALA (Indian Academic Library Association).

Dr.G.Krishnamoorthy

Dr. G.Krishnamoorthy took over as University Librarian, University Library, Anna University Chennai, w.e.f. 2007. He obtained PhD in Library and Information Science from Department of Library and Information Science, University of Madras,Chennai in 2003. His professional career started at the Industrial Library,Chennai in 1984 and he moved to The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical  University, Chennai in 1990 as a Deputy Librarian. At The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical  University, Chennai , he introduced many new services like Medical Informatic Centre and Digital Library with innovative techniques for optimal utilization of information resources. He established a Virtual Library and enhanced digital content. He has established a web-based E-Question Bank and project oriented information services for the benefit of all Medical and Paramedical Scholars. In Anna University He has guided the development of Library Automation Software, Database of Library Holdings, and Union Catalogue. He created infrastructure for accessing the Digital Library as well as online journals. Dr.G.Krishnamoorthy is a Life Member of several professional associations including Department of Continuing Engineering Education programme, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is an expert member for various Selection and other Committees in academic and other bodies at national level. Dr. G.Krishnamoorthy, University Librarian, Anna University, Chennai has been nominated  by His Excellency, the Governor of the Tamilnadu, as a member of the Senate, University of Madras for a period of three year.
